Covid-19 Policy

505 Equestrian and Polo Sports COVID-19 Camp Policy
 

Health Monitoring:

         Each staff member will have their temperature tested before entering camp. 

If a staff member exhibits a temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or greater, they will be sent home.  Staff must wash hands and sanitize upon arriving at the barn. 
 

         Parents should monitor the health of their children and not send them to camp if they are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19.  Please check your child’s temperature each morning before camp and keep the camper at home if their temperature is 100 Fahrenheit or greater.

 

Per the State of Texas Day Camp Protocols:

  • Parents should remain in the vehicle at camper drop-off and pick-up if at all possible.

  • No tours of the camp at camper drop-off or pick-up
     

Cleaning and Sanitation Protocols:

  • Upon arrival, campers must sanitize their hands

  • Campers will wash their hands and sanitize often throughout the camp day, especially after riding, before and after crafting and before and after lunch.

  • All staff will encourage campers to wear a face covering.  **Instructors may remove their face covering while teaching (teachers will observe proper distancing during riding time).

  • High-touch door handles and restrooms will be frequently cleaned

  • Craft tables will be wiped down between each group and lunch tables cleaned each day.

  • All materials and supplies used in camp will be cleaned after each use.
